It all began in the early 2000s when Judith SAYAG, a frequent user of hair extensions, faced a challenge: finding high-quality extensions that met her standards. Dissatisfied with existing options, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Her ambition? To create a line of hair extensions that combined quality, naturalness, and affordability, while offering a custom solution for every hair type and need.
In 2008, with the help of her husband Serge and their son Yoan, Judith founded Royal Extension, a family business with a clear goal: to give every woman the chance to enhance her hair with high-quality products at a price accessible to all! Drawing from her personal expertise, Judith ensured every product met the highest standards while remaining affordable. But the adventure didn’t stop there.
Royal Extension’s story is one of perseverance and hard work. What started as a small eBay store grew, within a few years, into a key player in the hair extension industry. In 2009, the company launched its own website to reach a wider audience, democratize hair extensions with attractive pricing, and offer a seamless online shopping experience. This year marked the beginning of a close relationship with our customers, which we’ve always nurtured.
A STRONG FAMILY COMMITMENT
From the start, the entire family was involved in Royal Extension’s growth. While Judith focused on product quality, her husband Serge and son Yoan handled business and technical aspects, constantly innovating to better meet customer expectations. The family dynamic fueled our growth, keeping us true to our values and mission: delivering quality products while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do.
This family involvement grew stronger over the years with the addition of their daughters, Aurélie and Mandy, who joined to lead marketing and customer service. Their expertise deepened Royal Extension’s connection with our community, especially on social media. Today, they listen to every need and ensure every customer feels supported.

A JOURNEY MARKED BY MILESTONES
Royal Extension’s story is one of constant evolution, driven by encounters, opportunities, and strategic partnerships. In 2010, we partnered with Elodie Gossuin, former Miss France, who won over our team and customers. This collaboration boosted our national visibility and credibility among beauty professionals and enthusiasts.
In 2012, we reached a major milestone: opening our first concept store in Cannes. Unlike typical salons, it offered extensions and expert application on-site. The concept was a hit, proving customers wanted not just quality products but a personalized experience with expert advice.
Building on this success, we grew further. Our participation in the 2015 Mondial de la Coiffure in Paris established us as a go-to brand for hairstylists. Today, over 2,500 salons use our products. Our Paris boutique (2016) and Lille location (2018) strengthened our physical presence in France, offering tailored consultations and professional application.
TOWARD INTERNATIONAL GROWTH
Our expansion didn’t stop at France’s borders. In 2019, we opened a second Paris boutique on Rue de Rivoli. In 2022, we went global with our first international salon in Brussels, showcasing our ambition to bring Royal Extension worldwide.
2024 is a pivotal year, with new salons in Dubai and Valencia (Spain). These openings mark a new era as we share our expertise and passion for hair extensions globally.
